"I have been a businessman for all of my life. I know how to save money without sacrificing quality. I will use that expertise in the political arena. Children, seniors, and the middle class and working poor are my highest priority. I intend to work on traffic, more parks, expanding library hours, hiring tolerant, effective police officers and saying no to greedy developers. This district deserves progressive leadership, not ultraconservative demagoguery."
